Justin had to work all day yesterday, being the good girlfriend that I am, I decided to make him a nice home-cooked meal. Not being much of a cook but more of a baker I decided to stick to the basics. Spaghetti with meat sauce, what could be better than that after a long day out on the boat?
After a quick google search I was off to Fresh and Easy to pick up the ingredients. While searching for a good recipe I also learned the importance of not over stirring the meat. If you stir the meat constantly you end up with a yucky grey color. If you let it sit and only stir occasionally you get a delicious looking browned appearance. Yum!
I cheated a little on the garlic bread and used the frozen Texas Toast but it is never disappointing. Also threw together a quick Caesar salad and the finishing touch a Longboard Island Lager from Kona Brewing Co. He was pretty stoked when he got home to say the least.
